Meta Blueprint offers free, self-guided and instructor-led courses for Meta apps and services.
Overview
Meta Blueprint offers courses for agencies, small businesses, and non-profits to provide support for Meta’s family of apps and service, including Facebook for Business, Instagram Business, the WhatsApp Business Platform, and more. Many courses are geared toward certifications users can earn, recognizing a user’s advanced level proficiency.
Blueprint courses are available to learners as self-paced eLearnings (built in Evolve Authoring and hosted in Intellum), or as live eLearnings (delivered using PowerPoint and Zoom).
I created two Blueprint courses in eLearning and vILT formats and was responsible for all aspects of development, from start to finish. In addition, I reviewed colleagues’ courses, made updates to exisiting courses, and planned courses for future creation.

Course 1: The WhatsApp Business Platform for Effective Business Messaging
To create this eLearning and the accompanying vILT, I followed the established process for the Meta Blueprint team which loosely follows the ADDIE model.
Here’s a quick summary: I consulted with SMEs to create a design document and storyboard. I worked cross-functionally with a content developer to build out the eLearning in Evolve Authoring and the vILT in Powerpoint, and with the editorial, brand, SEO, legal, and LMS teams to review and revise course content.
Feedback and revision were iterative.

Course 2: Generate New Leads for Your Business With Meta Lead Ads
To create this eLearning and the accompanying vILT, I followed a similar to process to the WhatsApp course above. I worked on this course simultaneously, with staggered deadlines.
